Common Redshank - Rødstilk - Tringa totanus
Rödbena - Rødben - Punajalkaviklo - Chevalier gambette

Common Redshank are regular in small numbers during the first half of May. The species is more numerous during the autumn m,igration which seems to start in the second half of June, although the majority are seen during August and Septmember. Occasional birds in October and November may be Icelandic.

The occurrence pattern of this species at Utsira is very similar both in timing and numbers.  The species is absent from Stag Rocks between the start of the sprng and autumn migrations at Skogsøy.

The blue line shows number of visits, the orange one the number of visits when Redshank have been recorded and the green one (numbers on right hand axis) shows the average numbers I have recorded in any three day period.
