Roseate
Tern breed on Coquet Island just of the coast of Northumberland.
This
species is relatively easy to find along the coast from Druridge Bay
down to Newbigin-by-the-sea but is best seen by taking one of the
"Puffin Cruises" out of Amble. Small numbers sometimes breed on the
Farnes and they can turn up in tern roosts pretty much anywhere up the
Northumberland coast

them up in a mass of other terns.
