Chaffinch
are common visitors to offshore
installations in the North
Seaand
Norwegian Sectors. Most Chaffinches in Scandinavia are migrants,
leaving the country during the autum - although in milder areas such as
Øygarden small numbers overwinter.

This species is a common autumn migrant which passes through the area.
Some will remain late in to the autumn/winter and visit feeders.
