Brambling
are common visitors to offshore
installations in the North
Sea
and
Norwegian Sectors. This bird joined a vessel in the Barents Sea over
100 nautical miles north east of Kirkenes, Norway.

This species is a common autumn migrant which passes through the area.
Some will remain late in to the autumn/winter and visit feeders.
Brambling are a common breeder in eastern Norway. Here a cracking adult
