The
two
pictures above were all taken through my non-too clean sitting room
window.
This individual was very aggressive towards other species, chasing
everything else away from what he considered to be "his" food.
Blackcap appear to be one of the obvious effects of global warming -
wintering on the west coast of Norway seems to be more and more
regular.
In Øygarden this species is a numerous late autumn migrant -
often to be found wherever there are elderberries - Sæle is
particularly good for this species. Late birds are regular well into
December - I usually see these either in my garden or at Hjelme.
