Common Sandpiper - Strandsnipe - Actitis hypoleucos

Common Sandpiper are regular passage migrants in both spring and autumn. They favour the area of rocks immediately north of the lighthouse and are not seen on the beaches.

The record count during the period I counted waders there is 6 individuals 12 July 1988.
