Sooty Shearwater - Grålire - Puffinus griseus

Sooty Shearwater is a regular visitor in small numbers, as with Northern Fulmar I have yet to get lucky with this species at Skogsøy and hit big numbers. Anytime after the end of July can produce Sooties, although September is probably the best month.

This species is probably more regular than the diagram below suggests; my visits tend to be random rather than targeting "good" weather.
