Gråhakedopping  - Gråstrubet Lappedykker - Härkälintu - Grebe jourgris

Red-necked Grebe is the most regularly observed grebe at Skogsøy - although it is never numberous. Occasional birds are seen heading south during the autumn migration (October - November). During the winter months (largely January) the species is occasionally observed on the sea rather than on passage.
