Little Grebe - Dvergdykker - Tachybaptus ruficollis
Smådopping  - Lille Lappedykker - Pikku-Uikku

Little Grebe is a rare, although reasonably regular late autumn visitor to Skogsøy. Never seen actually migrating this species is invariably seen on the sea, usually in the more sheltered bays. It is the second commonest of the grebe species, only Red-necked Grebe is more regular.

All of the few records I have of the species come from the second half of November.
