Greylag Goose - Grågås - Anser anser
Grågås  - Grågås - Merihanhi  - Oie cendree

Rather few Greylags are seen on spring migration past Skogsøy, with small numbers noted from late March onwards into the second half of April. The species is much better represented during the autumn migration which commences in late July and peaks in early August (this is likely to be the Norwegian population). Smaller numbers are recorded as the autumn progresses.

As for many species of wildfowl the numbers seen at Skogsøy are a lot higher than at Utsira.

The blue line shows number of visits, the orange one the number of visits when Greylags have been recorded and the green one shows the maximum numbers I have recorded in any three day period.
