Black Guillemot - Teist - Cepphus grylle
Tobisgrissla - Tejst - Riskilä

Black guiilemot can be seen in varying numbers throughout the year irrespective of wind condtions; the species is least likely to be seen in summer and early autumn.During the winter months the species is most often seen sitting on the sea; any "movements" are likely to be local and are somewhat unpredictable.

This species is a lot more numerous at Utsira where there is a sizeable breeding population.

The blue line shows number of visits, the orange one the number of visits when Black Guillemot have been recorded and the green one (numbers on right hand axis) shows the average numbers I have recorded in any three day period.
