Red-necked Grebe - Gråstrupedykker - Podiceps grisegena
Gråhakedopping - Gråstrubet lappedykker - Harkalintu - Roodhalsfuut - Rothalstaucher

Slavonian and Red-necked Grebes are always popular with birders. Over much of Europe they are an uncommon sight - even in winter when they become largely coastal birds. Red-necked Grebe is one of the two commonest grebes in Øygarden - seen migrating past Skogsøy or as a scarce but regular winter visitor. As with the other grebes this species is frustratingly difficult to photograph.
